Last updated September 30, 2026. These terms cover the FoodChaser™ mobile app and the FoodChaser website.
FoodChaser is a community for finding food. People report food trucks and restaurants they have found, post photos of what they are eating, and see what is open near them right now. These terms are the rules for using it. They are an agreement between you and ViviScape LLC, which operates FoodChaser (“FoodChaser,” “we,” “us”).
The short version
Be at least 13. Post only what you have the right to post, and nothing illegal, hateful, harassing or misleading. You own what you post; you let us show it in FoodChaser. Hours, locations and AI suggestions can be wrong, so check before you drive across town. You can delete your account at any time. We can remove content or accounts that break these rules.
By creating an account or using FoodChaser, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and why. If you do not agree, please do not use FoodChaser.
Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has gotten into it, change your password and email privacy@foodchaser.io. One person, one account: do not create accounts to get around a block, a suspension or a limit.
Posts, photos, captions, comments, finds, reviews, check-ins and your profile are “your content.”
Do not use FoodChaser to:
You can report a post, comment or person from inside the app, and you can block anyone. Blocking someone hides you and them from each other and ends any friendship between you. We review reports, and we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we believe puts people at risk, with or without notice. We are not obligated to monitor everything posted, and we do not endorse what users post.
Scout, FoodChaser's assistant, uses artificial intelligence to suggest places and answer questions about food nearby. Its answers are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong, including about hours, events and what a place serves. Treat them as suggestions, not facts.
A business owner or manager can claim a listing to manage its details. By claiming a listing, you confirm that you are authorized to represent that business. We review claims and may ask for proof. We may reject a claim, remove an approved claim, or correct a listing, for example when a claim turns out to be unauthorized or the information is misleading. Claiming a listing does not give you control over what other users post about the business, and it does not let you remove honest reviews.
FoodChaser awards points, ranks, badges and challenge rewards for taking part. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not your property. We may change how they are earned or what they unlock, and we may remove ones earned by breaking these terms, such as through fake finds or automation. They end when your account is deleted.
Some features for businesses may cost money. The price, billing period and what is included are shown before you buy. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and your payment card details go to them, not to us. Unless the offer says otherwise, subscriptions renew until you cancel, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are not refundable except where the law requires or where we say otherwise at the time of purchase. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow that store's billing and refund rules.
FoodChaser, including its software, design, logos and the FoodChaser name, belongs to ViviScape LLC and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and website for their intended purpose under these terms. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell them, or use our name or logos without permission. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
FoodChaser relies on services run by other companies, such as maps, notifications and app stores, and may link to websites and apps we do not control. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for them.
You can stop using FoodChaser at any time, and you can delete your account from Profile → Delete my account in the app, or at foodchaser.viviscape.io/delete-account. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is deleted. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering FoodChaser. Sections 4 (the parts about content already shared), 7 and 12 through 19 continue to apply after your account ends.
FoodChaser is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that FoodChaser will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate. Some places do not allow these disclaimers, so some of them may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, ViviScape LLC and its officers, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of FoodChaser or from any content, business or person you encounter through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to FoodChaser is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you posted, your use of FoodChaser, or your breaking these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, including attorneys' fees, to the extent the law allows.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email privacy@foodchaser.io so we can try to resolve it. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection the law where you live gives you.
If you downloaded FoodChaser from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and ViviScape LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its support, and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
We may update these terms as FoodChaser changes. When we do, we will update this page and the date at the top, and material changes will be announced in the app. Changes do not apply retroactively. If you keep using FoodChaser after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about FoodChaser. If any part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not waived it. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of FoodChaser.
Questions about these terms, and legal notices, go to privacy@foodchaser.io.
